Playtime Chronicles: Uno, Hide and Seek, & Tales for the Soul

Do you play in your daily life? What says “playtime” to you?

Playtime, to me, is like this fantastic pause button in the adult world—a chance to step into a world of fun and connection. Family game nights are a staple, but Monopoly tends to stretch longer than expected, so Uno swoops in as the hero, offering a quicker dose of excitement and competition.

Now, playing hide and seek with the grandkids? It’s a full-circle moment that transports me back to the days when I played the same game with my own children. Those echoes of laughter and the sheer joy of discovery create these incredible, timeless memories.

Funny stories, oh, they’re my little treasures! I stash them away, eagerly waiting to sprinkle them into my blog posts. Sharing these moments of hilarity feels like spreading sunshine, and it’s one of my favorite things to do.

Yet, when it’s just me and the quiet hum of creativity, writing takes center stage. Whether it’s crafting a blog post to share my thoughts or diving deep into weaving a novel or anthology, it’s where my imagination runs wild. It’s my personal sanctuary, a space where ideas blossom, stories flourish, and the magic of words comes to life.

  1. Ah, I stash the funny moments away, too. They add another layer of bonding.
