Instincts & Guidance: Embracing Divine Trust

Do you trust your instincts?

Trusting your gut is like having your personal Google Maps, shaped by all your life detours and adventures. It’s what nudges you when making choices in life’s maze.

Think about it: I’ve had moments that felt like winning the lottery, confirming my gut was on point. But then, there were several times I was dead set on my instincts and it totally blew up in my face. It was a wake-up call that even the most confident instincts can take a nosedive.

Then come those experiences that flash like warning signs, telling you to take a different route. They’ve made me so cautious that I’ve missed out on some cool stuff because of past letdowns.

Now, let’s dig into the Holy Spirit as described in John 16:13 in the Bible. It paints this picture of a super guide, way beyond our own experiences, leading us toward some real truth. Think of it like having a buddy who’s seen it all, offering tips that go beyond our own scope.

Trusting those gut feelings, inspired by this higher wisdom, is about finding a chill balance. It’s like having a cool friend who respects your journey while offering a bigger picture. It’s not just about listening to your past wins or stumbles; it’s also about tuning into this deep wisdom that helps you make choices aligned with some bigger truth. It’s about leaning on the Holy Spirit’s advice rather than just going by our own experiences or instincts.

It’s mixing up all your life lessons with this divine wisdom. It’s finding that sweet spot between caution and boldness, reshaping how you trust yourself to navigate life’s crazy roads with newfound clarity, purpose, and a strong reliance on the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

  2. The Holy Spirit certainly is a Super Guide! That’s an appropriate descriptor for him, I think. Well done, Josh!
