Why October Is Basically the Best Month Ever

What’s your favorite month of the year? Why?

Okay, hear me out—October rocks! Seriously, there’s just something about it that hits differently for me. It’s like a blast from the past, a nostalgia trip that’s just too good to resist.

Back in the day, October was the kickoff for me and my sis to go wild in the great outdoors. Leaves on the ground meant one thing: hours spent exploring the woods. It was our secret kingdom, and we ruled those trails like champs. Now? It’s like passing the baton of fun—I see my own kids and grandkids diving into the same leaf-crunching, adventure-packed shenanigans.

But let’s not overlook the obvious: hoodie weather! October’s when you pull out those cozy sweatshirts and embrace the chilly air like it’s a warm hug.

And the food game? Oh yeah, it’s chili time! There’s something about a steaming bowl of chili that screams, “Hello, autumn!” It’s a tasty tradition I’ve embraced wholeheartedly.

You know what makes October so epic? It’s more than just a month on the calendar; it’s a mood. It’s the kaleidoscope of colors, the comfort of familiar vibes, and the feeling of being wrapped up in fall’s awesome embrace—packed into those sweet 31 days of October goodness.

      1. Haha ! My date of arrival was somewhere between later part of November and beginning of December.
I had other plans for arrival time…..made my entrance at breaking of that Sunday morning 4 am on 4th November. It’s really a month of changes..because my grandmother came to the hospital with my dad and she suggested a new middle name shld depict my new arrival “Dawn” breaking of the day.
        Anyway until then and Blessings.
